For most of us, the first Monday in May means we’re one month closer to our Summer destiny, but for the fashion industry it means attending one of the biggest global fashion events…Met Gala. Every year the most attended fashion exhibition is held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and chaired by Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour. The fashion gods are blessing us with “The First Monday in May“, a behind the scenes look at the creation of the Met Gala and more importantly the debate about whether fashion should be viewed as art. The star-studded cast featuring singer Rihanna, filmmaker Wong Kar Wai and fashion designers Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano will capture the fusion of fashion and celebrities in one room. You can imagine what the movie will have to offer with a glimpse of last year’s images of Rihanna and Beyoncé below
