I’m truly a hip-hop lover at heart, loving the producer, like I love the writer and the performer, so when Swiss Beatz announced he and Just Blaze would be battling beat for beat on IG Live yesterday…I was here for it.
IG Live being the place for impromptu anything, I knew it would be LIT and THAT it was! Initially, working off of Just Blaze’s set the two super producers got right to it starting off with Swiss Beatz’ ‘Pump It Up’. With no real rules, nothing pre-recorded we watched the two go head to head clean off the cuff.
They battled it out in the following areas: Originals, Chops, DJ Sets, Hits Vs Hits and Live Vs Live. Swiss is no stranger to an impromptu battle when in 2007 he and Kanye took each other on at Summer Jam. I just want to know…does the winner battle another producer? Who got next? Hip-Hop needs this!
