Yo Gotti wasted no time dropping visuals for the first track off of his new album “I Still Am” entitled “Betrayal”. Staying closer to his own reality, Gotti uses the new video to paint the picture of what money and fame can bring out of the ones closest to you. The video was directed by Cloudkicka. Watch it the video below.
What’s beef? Especially when it comes to Cardi B and Nicki Minaj after hearing Migos new track “Motor Sport”. It’s safe to say the devil was proven to be a liar yet again when they decided to collaborate in spite of the countless beef rumors. “Motor Sport” will appear on Migos new album “Culture II” the follow up to “Culture”, which debuted at number 1 February 2017. In the meantime, both Nicki and Cardi B have new albums in the works. Cardi is set to release her new album in November and Nicki has yet to release details. Who went harder… Nicki or Cardi B? Check out the track below.
We’re now at the end of cuffing season tryouts set to begin the pre-season in exactly one week. While some of us want to find that one, a great majority of us want to have our cake and eat it too. 112 and Jagged Edge is giving us just that with their new track “Both of Us”. The 90s groups are throwing us back to when we could not only hear a great track, but feel amazing chemistry in them. In a recent interview with 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, 112 told the story of the beef behind the music with Jagged Edge and where that puts both R&B groups now. They’ve been discussing the possibility of a joint tour which isn’t far off when you think about with older R&B acts like Xscape and Monica joining forces creating super tours. The new album, Q.Mike.Slim.Daron is slated for release in 4 days, on October 27 and is currently available for pre-order HERE. You here for it?
It seems that Lil Uzi Vert’s creative juices are flowing as he dropped 4 new tracks yesterday. We can probably credit his opening for The Weeknd’s European Tour ‘StarBoy Legend of the Fall’. The tour kicked off on February 17 and runs until July 22. It seems that the tour will result in an album for Lil Uzi at the rate he’s dropping tracks. Out of the 4 tracks my favorite is ‘Boring Shit’. Take a listen to all 4 tracks below:
Ya’ll know I am some kind of happy when I find new music and this weekend I struck gold! Kehlani and Bryson Tiller blessed us with 2 new tracks. You definitely have to go through something to get to something and Kehlani has proved that with her most recent tracks “CRZY” and “Distraction”. She’s back with her new track “Table” to let you know what she brings to the table and you should know that it’t not just a seat. Not only does she let you know that she brings the table to the space that you’re sitting in, but she invited the talented UK emcee Little Simz to back her up. Produced by Jahaan Sweet, DJ Dahi and DJ Relly Rell they fuse smooth yet rough to create the perfect track sampling SWV’s track “Use Your Heart”. Take a listen below. While Kehlani is letting us know what she brings to the table, Bryson Tiller wants us to hear him out on why he should have a second chance rekindling a romance with his ex-girlfriend with his …
I love me some R&B and there is nothing better when I find a well produced collaboration between a rapper and an R&B artist. It’s the softer side of the rapper that I love hearing. My most recent find is a collaboration between veteran Joey Crack and rookie Bryson Tiller on a track titled ‘Love You To Pieces’. Unbeknownst to me, before Bryson Tiller’s recent success, Fat Joe was interested in signing him, but instead decided to do a few collaborations and this track was one of the final products. Not only do I love the lyrics and the tempo, but I love the fact that I use the phrase ‘Love You To Pieces’ frequently and it made me smile. Listen to the track above.
Tink’s voice and Timbaland’s production drags me back into the 90’s with Nicole Wray’s ‘I Got What You Want’. Tink’s ability to transition between tough lyricist to sweet songtress is definitely her advantage. Here’s to the single girl who is exhausted with the pointless mingling.
